Still 5 Days to apply for Rebuilding Futures Startup Competition 2017

October 22, 2017 is the last day to apply for the Rebuilding Futures Startup Completion that is open for applicants from Burundi, Cote d’Ivoire, Jordan, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liberia, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey or Yemen. People can apply who have a business idea or existing business (less than 1 year old) that can contribute to rebuilding or supporting their local community. The three finalists will be invited to pitch their business idea at the international SPARK IGNITE conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The winner will take home up to €10,000.00 to get the business idea started.
The competition is organized by Young Advisory Group and SPARK to support startups in fragile states. Finances are donated by renowned Dutch and international companies.

Estonia’s largest Business Idea Competition – still open for Applications

October 29, 2017 is the deadline to apply for Ajujaht, the largest competition of business ideas in Estonia. Since 2007 Enterprise Estonia is organizing this competition annually to provide opportunities for people to challenge themselves in trying to start a business in a supportive environment. The prize fund of the competition this year is 60 000 €.
Anyone is welcome to submit an idea to the competition, although the main target groups are “specialists craving for a career change and university students wishing to create a startup”. Ajujaht offers the opportunity to secure seed capital and mentorship by first-class expertise. It provides workshops for getting the necessary know-how on how to create a startup as well as making useful contacts and visibility – even by TV coverage.
